Support HONK NYC!
Dear Friend of HONK:
Since our first HONK Festival in 2008, we’ve brought music, culture, and celebration to the streets of New York City. Whether it’s the joyous energy of our “house band”, the HONK Family Band — which has performed all over New York and New England, from the Riverview Jazz Festival in Jersey City, to HONK Boston — or our ongoing collaboration with the NYC Department of Transportation every year for their Summer Streets series, our festivals and events have consistently brought joy to all corners of the city.
Donate now to help support our work spreading our "three M’s” — Music, Movement, and Making — to all five boroughs of New York City. Donations to the House of HONK, the 501(c)3 non-profit arm of our organization, are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
What Your Support Means
Your donation can help fund critical areas of our work heading into the future:
$100 pays for a musician to perform at one of our community events.
$250 pays for arts and crafts-making supplies for kids to use at one of our HONK Master Makers tables at a community event, and a teacher to guide them.
$750 covers the cost of a one 40 minute community band performance
$1,000 enables us to bring in internationally renowned artists for a community performance or workshop.
$2,500 covers tuition for 5 HONK Kids Camp attendee scholarships
$5,000 covers five nights of housing for a visiting band of up to 15 people
Every gift counts! Whether you can donate $25, or $1,000, you are helping us bring Music, Movement, and Making to communities across all five boroughs of New York City. We need you with us to continue our work, and your gift will make an immediate impact.
