The genius creative team behind Maker Music Festival, a global community of d.i.y. music makers & innovators, constructed a building for HONK NYC! on their imaginary campus. Explore TIPTON, our Virtual House of HONK, featuring Stefan Zeniuk, Kenny Wollesen, Funkrust Brass Band, & Plezi Rara, our resident World Maker Faire Artists (2015-2019). Meet NYC's thriving community of street bands. Encounter international bands as-yet-to-be-seen at HONK NYC!, or not seen in years!
We name our building in honor of transmasculine band leader Billy Tipton.
